A small-budget emotional drama set in rural India, “Dus Tola”, follows the journey of a goldsmith, who after being betrayed by his lover, sets to avenge the humiliation.

Starring Manoj Bajpai and Arti Chhabria in the lead roles, the movie is a parable about truth and integrity and has a canvas peopled by real-life characters. “Dus Tola” follows Bajpai who is in love with his neighbour’s daughter, (Aarti Chhabria) and is all set to marry her after gifting her a gold necklace. But the greedy girl dupes him and marries someone else. Heartbroken, he plans to settle scores with the unfaithful girl and finds true love in his childhood friend who he had ignored all this while.

Directed by Ajoy, the film also stars Siddharth Makkar, Pallavi Sharda, Govind Namdeo, Asrani, Dilip Prabhawalkar in supporting roles. The film is said to be a rip-off from Malayalam film Ponmutta yidunna Tharavu, with an interesting plot, some great endearing moments, classy acting yet being plain and simple.

“Dus Tola” which released on October 22, 2010 has received mixed reviews with many critics rejecting the parallel tracks running concurrently divert and attention, driving the viewer away from the main plot. Many have ripped apart the patchy writing and equally inconsistent direction. The songs gratuitously adjoin to the length of the film.

The movie is Bajpai’s latest after much-successful and critically-acclaimed multi-starrer “Raajneeti” in which he plays a shrewd politician who can go to any lengths to win in polls. His role in the movie was well-applauded.

“Rakta Charitra” is a biographical based on the life of an Indian factionist and political heavyweight who was assassinated by rivals in 2005. The film, starring Viveik Oberoi in the lead role, has been shot simultaneously in three languages – Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.

In “Rakta Charitra”, Oberoi plays the role of Paritala Ravi from Andhra Pradesh who gets into politics to clean up his personal mess of murders and executions. The films follows his trials and tribulations in life. Supporting Oberoi in this thrilling drama are south stars Suriya, Priyamani Kota Srinivasa Rao and Radhika Apte and Shatrughan Sinha in pivotal roles.

The film follows the trials and tribulations of Ravi, a young college student who swears revenge for killing of his father and brother, which turns him into a gangster. He then joins \politics and is patronized by a politician, whose character is modeled after N.T.Rama Rao. The movie then follows conspiracy theories surrounding the assassination of Ravi apparently by his political rivals.

Directed by critically-acclaimed Ram Gopal Varma, the first part of the film would release on October 22 and the second would release in first week of November. According to Varma, the two part release of the movie would appeal to the younger audience who love thrilling and fast-paced action-drama.

“Rakta Charitra” is the favorite theme of Varma, who returns to making fast-paced racy thriller, exploring the politics-crime nexus once again. Using dare-devil camera sequences, amazing action thrills and intense acting from all the lead actors, the movie certainly is expected to draw huge urban crowds.

Two debutants in one movie – first-time director Manish Sharma and actor Ranveer Singh are all set to welcome their much-talked about romantic comedy “Band Baaja Baraat”, the story of lively and sparkling Indian weddings

The film is a quintessential Delhi tale, inspired by north Indian wedding, which are famous for family revelry and equal any big festival. “Band Baaja Baraat’s” lead characters, Bittu and Shruti played by Singh and Anoushka Sharma, have rough edges, especially the abrasive colloquialism of their speech.

“Band Baaja Baraaat” is Anoushka’s third film after a super-hit debut with Shah Rukh Khan in “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” and not-so successful “Badmaash Company” with Shahid Kapoor. According to reports, Anoushka has said to have been very pleased with her role in the film, calling it the best bet for her so far in Bollywood.

The movie follows a hilarious journey of two friends who start a wedding planning firm and how they meet with different clients from across the country. Shruti is a 20-year-old from a middle class famil who is focused on her ambitions. Her childhood friend Bittoo on the other hand has no real aim in life. He spends his time by just whiling away time with his friends and having fun. The duo then become partners in their Wedding planning firm and working together they see many ups and downs of the lavish weddings.

The music of “Band Baaja Baraat” has been composed by the Salim-Sulaiman and the movie is slated to hit the theatres on December 10, 2010.

The memoirs of American author Elizabeth Gilbert has been compiled into a major Hollywood movie “Eat Pray Love” starring top actress Julia Roberts. The film archives Gilbert’s trip around the world after a painful break-up from her husband highlighting her emotional and spiritual journey. The movie is divided into three parts, where the first part shows her travelling to Italy while eating out and enjoying life. She then goes to India and finds solace in spiritual healing and meditation and finally, in the final chapter Gilbert goes to Bali where she finds true love in the form of a charismatic Brazilian factory owner.

The film released in August 2010 and got mixed reviews from various international media. “Eat Pray Love”, directed by Ryan Murphy, also stars Javier Barden, James Franco and Richard Jenkins.

Based on the best-selling novel by Gilbert of the same name, this soul-searching, self-discovery was named was picked up by Oprah as one of her favorites.

Roberts, a well-known name in Hollywood, known for her path-breaking roles like the one in Erin Brockovich, looks beautiful and completely fits the character, acting subtly. Having put on weight for the author-backed role, Roberts seems comfortable in her skin.

“Eat Pray Love” does not boast of a gorgeous or dazzling setting, emotion-arousing music, thrills, top-class swooping backdrops or even great acting feats, but the movie does invoke in you questions about self-discovery and love and how maturely one can handle them. Glamour queen Mallika Sherawat is back with a bang. And this time she teams up with critically-acclaimed actor Irrfan Khan for “Hisss”, a fast-paced, racy thriller. Directed by Jennifer Lynch, “Hisss” is a revenge tale of a snake-woman who goes on a murderous spree after her lover is captured by humans.

Sherawat, known for her bold on-screen lip-locks does not shy away from skin show this time also. She is reported to have shot steamy scenes with a real snake and has claimed it to be the best kiss she has ever had till date.

“Hisss” is a fantasy film that tracks the journey of a half-cobra, half-woman who punishes her enemies with grotesque and monstrous death. It follows a myth of the Cobra Goddess from ancient India, who takes a bloody revenge when her mate, the cobra is violated by an American biological scientist. They are said to be doomed by death or infertility. Only respect and worship can keep the population safe and the women fertile.

The film has loads of thrilling and hair-raising sequences with lots of digital and special effects prepared by a team of Hollywood animation directors. It is reported that Sherawat does not have a single dialogue in the film. “Hisss” also features Divya Dutta and Jeff Doucette in supporting roles.

The film also gained headlines at the Cannes Film Festival where Sherawat promoted “Hisss” by posing with a 22-foot-long python on the red carpet. “Hisss” is all set to open across the theatres worldwide on October 22.

John Abraham has been given the role of a character named Siddharth who is an obsessive liar who lies left, right and centre. Suddenly a girl comes into his life and without any second thought, he tells a lot of lies to her also. The film is set around how john gets into difficulties because of his character. R. Madhavan will be making guest appearance in the movie.

It is also being said that the film was earlier titled as 1-800-Love but latter was changed to JHOOTHA HI SAHI. Also. The music is given by none other than the Academy Award winner A. R. Rahman. The movie is set to be released on October 15, 2010.

The full length feature animation film will be distributed by Hollywood studio Warner Bros Pictures India. Warner Bros., with its reach and expertise provides the ideal platform for this new avatar of the Ramayana, where the past meets the future implements mythology and technology.  Denzil Dias, Deputy Director General (theatrical) Warner Bros. Pictures, India, said in a statement that “they believe that they are pleased to be associated with this project,”

The film is set to be released at the same time in three different languages i.e. Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on 15^th of October across India.

The movie is about the life of a common man in city like Delhi. His family (Duggal Family) consists of a teenage daughter, a fast track son and a wife wants to have a good life. Mr Duggal (Rishi Kapoor) lives in a DDA flat in Delhi where he has to cope with the rising dearness and low salary. Besides all the difficulties, the family’s life was still a going simple and was taking care of the basics. However, one day they all see a dream and try to do something to make the dream come true because of an innocent little wedding invitation. Then the movie turns into a journey of chaos, realizations, calculations, confrontations and bonding. They all (crazy Duggals) fight in the movies at home and also with the neighbourhood for what they think is a ‘good buy’ for the family for this wedding. The bond in the family then comes to a most unexpected and hilarious situations and just when they realise that that the problem is solved, comes one big, lurking temptation.

All in all, the movie is set to rock the silver screen and will b released on October 08, 2010.

DHOBI GHAT is a story based on four people who live Marin Drive, Mhohmed Ali Road & Mahalaxmi at that area. The concept of the story is pretty new written and the main good news is Aamir Khan is also there in the movie and the movie story is for granted very well. The main character (lead role) is Prateik Babbar playing the role of a dhobi. Aamir khan showed this film at Toronto festival to the cosmopolitan audience. It is said that the viewers surprisingly watched the film in firm silence. They got completely into the humour of the film, from Aamir’s entrance without a mark out of the usual squeals that a star elicits. It was Prateik who drew giggles and laughter as he played the simple dhobi with a frank truthfulness that was totally appealing.

As per the gossips, it was being said that DHOBI GHAT will be released on 24th December, correspond with Aamir’s earlier films (Taare Zameen Par, Ghajini and 3 Idiots) which were released during Christmas season. However, the sources say that the movie is now set to be released in 2011.
