Milenge Milenge – Having shades of Hollwood starrer, ‘Serendipity’ Milenge Milenge, directed by Satish Kaushik is a romantic love story starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. Produced by Surinder Kapoor the movie released with a lukewarm response to the hit team of Jab We Met. The movie involves a strange twist of fate for the two lovers Priya (Kareena Kapoor) and Amit (Shahid Kapoor).

The story is about a student and an assistant choreographer Priya who dreams of getting a family after marriage, as she is an orphan. A tarot reader predicts that she will find love in South Africa. It is then when she leaves for Africa to find her love that she meets Amit. Amit fakes his nature to suit the man of Priya’s dream. When Priya finds about Amit’s lies the couple drifts apart. However destiny has something else in hand for both of them. They cross paths after three years and face each other again. What happens then? Do they realize their love for each other again?

The music of the film is given by Himesh Reshammiya.  This is a comeback movie of the hit couple Shahid and Kareena after Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Jab We Met’ that turned out to be a blockbuster. The other members from the cast include Satish Shah, Aarti Chhabria, and Delnaaz Paul. The first look of the movie did not quite make an impression on the viewers. But will the star crossed lovers be able to find stability in love and life? The film seems to be a half hearted attempt to make love work.
