0 comments Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai - Directed by Milan Luthria, the film ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbai’ is based on Mumbai’s famous criminal world don Haji Mastan. Ajay Devgan gets to play the character of Haji Mastan while Emraan Hashmi is Dawood Ibrahim. The film also stars Prachi Desai and Kangna Ranaut in the lead roles. The film is produced by Balaji Telefilms and Popcorn Entertainment. Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai is scheduled for release on 30 July 2010.
The film is narrated and seen through the eyes of a police officer. The movie is a tale of two gangsters from the period of past and present, whose lives enter similar trails as they thrash about to stay alive surrounded by Mumbai’s criminal underworld. It is about the mount of Sultan (Ajay Devgn), and his ultimate drop, when his dependent Shoaib (Emraan Hashmi), defies his superiority, and takes over the control to rule the underbelly of Mumbai.
